All is well so far, you would not know the trouble to get back on line. Want to know how?

(1)    Took out me hard drive and took it to the; 'fix the hacker crap fixer shop'.
(2)   "Sorry all your stuff is stuffed". And; "we have formated your Hard Drive".
(3)   Re-installed the drive, boot-up, rom bios setup, select; seek CD- Rom at boot, re-boot.
(4)   All is well, XP professional, "yes please", Mr. Windows; "Windows is checking etc."
(5)   "Windows will re-start your computer", oops, "NTLDR IS MISSING", bugger.
(6)   Try again, same message.
(7)   Format H / Drive, try again, the bugger is still missing!
(8)   This time we try XP HOME, (after format again), hello, "NTLDR is missing Bro".
(9)   Experlitives are getting more (R) rated. Format again, re-boot and then;
(10)  MS-DOS, "that's it", I find me old book, me old WINDOWS 98 boot disk, I am in DOS.
(11)  Format, memory check, CHKDSK, DIR COMMANDS, SUB-DIR, DISK SPACE, FILENAMES.
(12)  Nearly 5 hours has elasped, (and 6 glasses of Chardonnay), 5 fags and a ham sandwich.
(13)  There's been a total eclipse, a third world war, my daughter in-law concieved and given birth.
(14)  The tide has rose and fell 3 times, but MS-DOS ver.5, (1987) has saved the day.
(15)  Re-boot, WINDOWS 98 System disk, GO YOU GOOD THING, AND IT DID.
(16)  "Welcome to WINDOWS 98 you friggen' turkey", I spend 5 minutes in the past, then;
(17)  Gently insert XP HOME, SERVICE PACK 2, "goods things Mum, I'm cummin home".
(18)  NOW; "I'm back", and; "you want SERVICE PACK 3, you want updates?
(19)  MICROSOFT goes ballistic, thanks blokes, (non-sexist), so here I am.
