HOW AN OLD FART SEES LIFE FROM THE FAR SIDE, 'CAUSE THERE IS NOT MUCH 'NEAR SIDE' LEFT. This story will be / could be ear warming. (Later).  THE POLES, THE MARINE ENCRUSTED VERY ROUGH POLES. So what are the Poles, no, not the poor buggers who felt the wrath of that little bloke with the silly moustache. My pole(s) are embeded in sand. They reside at BRUNSWICK HEADS, N.S.W. AUSTRALIA. Some time ago the PWD, or some other Government Agency, installed these poles and the infrastructure to measure hydrological stuff. Stuff applicable to wave motion, tide heights, sand motion. (Have you had a motion yet, then see the ALLBRAN ad.).  You can see the top of the pole, (just south of the south Brunswick Wall). Taken 2008.  No, it is not like that now. The next image will indicate the topography as it lives today, actually 2009. Notice that there seems to be a lot LESS of AUSTRALIA showing. This will be the commencement of a series of images that will demonstrate that: "NATURE GIVETH, NATURE TAKETH". As storm generated waves 'punish' the coastal dunes, so commences coastal erosion. BELONGIL, BYRON BAY have suffered, all of Australia has suffered, bugger me all of the world has felt the impact of 'Mother God'. Most of the dunal vegatation was planted by volunteers, after they had taken out that nasty BITEOU stuff. From the first photo to this; 2 / 3 million cubic meters of sand has gone to I dont know wence. 40 meters times 3 meters, where did it go? Who gives a rats, lets celebrete. OK, you have to remember this, and this IS the cruncher: THE BEACH  TERRAIN LOOKED EXACTLY LIKE THIS WHEN THIS POLE WAS "PLANTED". SO, "NATURE TAKETH, NATURE GIVETH BACK, THEN NATURE TAKETH AGAIN". And all in 30 years. AND SO FOLKS, THIS IS THE POLE CLOSE UP, THIS WILL BE YOUR CHALLENGE. I PROPOSE THAT A POLE EVENT BE DEVELOPED. I PROPOSE THAT IT HAS A SUITABLE NAME. IT WILL INCLUDE BOTH FEMALE AND FEMALE. THE FEMALES WILL ALL BE GREEN, ECOLOGISTS, AND WILLING TO HAVE SOME FUN IN THE SUN. FEMALES FROM TH EARLY SEVENTIES "MUST' APPLY.
